Studio Gang is a leading, Chicago-based architecture practice whose design work addresses buildings, landscapes, and cities. Founded by Jeanne Gang in 1997, the office has grown to include 35 full-time staff collaborating on national and international projects. SGA’s design philosophy is heavily rooted in research, an academic approach to problem
solving, with each building solution being a unique response to the project criteria. There’s a keen eye toward graphic consistency and clarity as an office, which extends into all project deliverables and presentations.
AG Design Works developed a 4 part implementation strategy for BIM tools which included: Definition and Assessment, Development and Planning , Pilot Project Introduction, and Production. We researched and analyzed Studio Gang’s current situation related to project process, workflow, software capabilities and IT infrastructure in order to develop a basis for a BIM implementation strategy.
